Health Sciences students are required by the University to have personal health insurance. Applications for the Macori plan are available in OU Tulsa Student Affairs or may be downloaded here. Students covered by the Macori plan must use the Student/Employee Health Clinic (619-4565) located on the second floor of the Schusterman Center Clinic as their initial point of contact for care (see insurance brochure).

All Health Sciences students pay a health fee each semester. The health fee goes to support the student clinic on the Schusterman Campus and entitles them to certain services provided by the Student Clinic. Click here for the complete student health policy. A student may request that their health fee be waived if (and only if) they meet the following criteria:(1) All classes begin after 4:00 p.m. (2) The student’s only class is an internship or practicum that does not have them on campus. The student must request this waiver each semester. Contact OU Tulsa Student Affairs.
