Mission Statement:
“Our goal is to enhance students' experiences and enable them to gain the most they can from their university education by providing opportunities for each student wishing to participate in activities and programs that contribute to development of the OU-Tulsa community.”
 
OUTSA meeting dates are on the first Wednesday of the following months: September through December for the fall semester & March through May for the spring semester, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 1D18
 

2009-2010 Officers

  President

Matt Davidson is a third year student enrolled in the Doctor of the Pharmacy Program.  Matt completed his undergraduate work at Northeastern State University.  In addition to serving as the president of OUTSA, Matt is involved with Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Pharmacy Leadership Society, American Society of Consultant Pharmacist and serves as an ambassador for the College of Pharmacy.   Outside of his school work and school activities Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and two children by spending as much time as possible outdoors.  You can contact Matt at Matthew-davidson@ouhsc.edu

     
  Vice President  
Mouhammad Akkoumi is a proud Lebanese sooner.  He finished his Bachelors of Science at the American University of Technology in Lebanon.  He moved to the United States in August, 2005, finished his Masters in Telecommunications Engineering at OU-Tulsa on May 2007, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical & Computer Engineering.  He was one of the founders of the International Student Organization in OU-Tulsa and served as the vice president for the 2005/2006 academic year and the President for the 2007/2008 academic year.  Mouhammad loves all sports in general but soccer more specifically and was assigned the captain for the OU-Tulsa soccer team two years in a row, and placed second…twice.  Mouhammad enjoys volunteering and does so whenever and wherever he can.  Mouhammad’s goal after graduation is to be a leading researcher in his field and become a faculty member.  “OU is the best University ever and we will win the BCS Championship next year, Boomers Sooners!”You can contact Mouhammad at makkoumi@ou.edu
