Prerequisites: |

Cable, DSL or other high bandwidth internet connection.
|
2.
|
Your PC is running Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Professional or Windows Vista. If it’s not, your PC should not be attached to the OU network. If you don’t know what version of windows you have, right-click on My Computer, select Properties and it will tell you what version you have.
|

|
Your PC is running an up to date virus protection program such as McAfee VirusScan 7 or higher and it is set to update daily and scan weekly. If not, please visit http://it.ouhsc.edu/services/desktopmgmnt/antivirussoftware.asp to download and install McAfee v8.5i as required.
|
4.
|
Your PC is up to date with all current Windows Critical Updates. If not, go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and download and install all Critical Updates. |
5. |
Unless you signed up for file server access through the VPN, you can uninstall the OU VPN via the Add/Remove Programs section of the Control Panel as you won't need it for EMR access any longer. |

Be sure to allow popups for these sites if prompted.

Installing and Connecting to Centricity EMR:
|
1.

Open Internet Explorer and click on "Tools" at the top, then "Internet Options", then the "Security" tab. Once you're there, go to the "Trusted Sites" section, and then click the "Sites" button under that. Add the address "https://csag.tulsa.ouhsc.edu" to the trusted sites list (EXACTLY as its written here) then click on OK. |

If you get any prompts asking you to install the Citrix ActiveX client, please click “Yes” and follow these instructions: |

Next change the Trusted Sites settings by clicking on "Custom Level" as circled in red below. |

Change the ActiveX settings for trusted sites to correspond with the settings in these screenshots: |

Restart Internet Explorer and go to https://csag.tulsa.ouhsc.edu/
|

At the Login Page; Click on Favorites, Add to Favorites. Change the name to “Centricity EMR Login” or something you’ll recognize next time and click “Ok” to save.

Type your OUHSC username and password (same as your e-mail login) in the box and click on the “Login” button.

If you're prompted to install the Citrix ActiveX client, please click “Yes” then you will be asked to accept the Citrix License Agreement. Click Yes |

Once it's done installing you should see a page with icons for “EMR” and “EMR Training”. Click which one you want to start. |

Allow the program to start and you will be prompted for your EMR username and password. |
| |

Now that you have the client installed, all you have to do is logon through the page in your favorites to connect next time! |

Note: Please, only use this method of access when you’re not on the OU-Tulsa network. If you’re on the OU-Tulsa network and need access to Centricity EMR you should have a different Citrix Client installed on your PC so you have an Icon on your desktop to start a session.
