| Windows XP Dial Up Instructions for OUHSC Modem Pool | ||

| Before you begin, be sure you have your OUHSC username, password and the number to the modem pool: 835-3443. |

| Step 1 Open the "Control Panel" |
||
|
||
| Step 2 Click "Network and Internet Connections" |
||
|
||
| Step 3 Click "Set up or Change your Internet connection" |
||
|
||
| Step 4 Click "Setup" |
||
|
||
| Step 5 Click "Next" |
||
|
||
| Step 6 Click "Connect to the Internet" then click "Next" |
||
|
||
| Step 7 Choose "Set up my connection manually" then click "Next" |
||
|
||
| Step 8 Choose "Connect using a dial-up modem" then click "Next" |
||
|
||
| Step 9 Type OUHSC then click "Next" |
||
|
||
| Step 10 Enter the phone number you wish to dial. Tulsa campus: 835-3443 |

||
| Step 11 Entering your User name and Password is optional. Just remember your password does change every 180 days. Uncheck "Use the account name and password when anyone connects to the Internet from this computer" and "Turn on Internet Connection Firewall for this connection." "Make this the default Internet connection" is optional. Click "Next." Format for OUHSC domain logon: username@ouhsc.edu Format for SOONER domain logon: username@sooner.net.ou.edu |

| Step 12 Click "Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop" then click "Finish" |
