The OU IMPACT group is a multidisciplinary team designed to provide assertive treatment to those who need a higher level of care than traditional outpatient services can provide. This means helping our members with numerous things such as getting housing, making doctor appointments for physical health problems, medication management, applying for SSI, SSDI, food stamps, as well as helping them with activities of daily living and meeting the goals they have set for themselves through engagement, encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Our target population is the homeless, although we will accept members who are already housed. This team is comprised of a psychiatrist, social workers, licensed professional counselors, case managers, nurses and a future addition of an occupational therapist. |
